Tea Party in Fayetteville, N.C.

Friday, February 27, 2009

Well, as you all know, there were several,  'Tea Parties'
held today, across our great country.  We were blessed to attend
the one in Fayetteville, N.C.
It was an interesting event. There were approximately 70-75 people
rallied at peak attendance. I observed 5 reporters, they took photos,
and interviewed a  few of the attendees.
The most intriguing part of it personally, were the reactions of the
motorists driving through downtown . Some nodded, honked, and
spoke words of approval for the rally and its purpose. They were
quite boisterous which revved up those gathered. There were those
who did not or would not even look over, that was strange. Hmmm,
70-75 folks on mainstreet during lunch hour waving flags, holding
signs, and making statements of opposition, kinda hard to ignore,
that's just my opinion. We had the Obot glares...quite a few of those,
found that fascinating . It was almost as if they thought they could
intimidate us with those looks they threw our way...didn't work
One, who I assume was an Obot,  spoke the word,  'BS' out
her car window. Boy, is she mixed up ?!?

Being able to chat with the folks at the rally, was encouraging. Kinda like
being here at Townhall.  One thing I heard a few different times, was that we,
(conservatives) need a better a way to organize, communicate, and rally more easily
and efficiently. May God raise up a spokesperson or organization to make
this happen.

I'd like to give a special thanks to Ralph Reagan who organized this event.
Also to Jack Urban from Resistnet.com, he and his daughter were gracious
in letting us follow him to the event. And last but not least, to Mr. Santelli. YOU ROCK!

These were taken as folks started to arrive. We were told to stay back on that sidewalk
by the rod iron fence....that didn't last long.

Symbolic Tea Dumping. We then gathered around the flags and sang, "The National Anthem"
